Hub Comics in the news

Not much touted here is the fact that I own a comic book store.  It’s a recent development, and with our renovations still ongoing (shelves, paint, lights, awning, website), it’s a little harder to blog and write.  On the plus side, our customers always have IDW’s full line of G.I. Joe comics and graphic novels to choose from.  Both myself and the store are in this week’s issue of DigBoston, a free arts and nightlife newspaper, and I manage to give some attention to Real American Hero.

  1. I remember being wowed by the sheer variety at Hub Comics when I visited Somerville a couple of years ago. Congrats on the good press!

  2. Thanks. We have slightly diminished that sheer variety, but in a good way. The store used to have such a wide selection that there was too much, and everything crowded for attention, with every book spine-out. Now we’ve honed in, and many books face cover-out, or are displayed on a table, and there’s more room to walk around. Everyone who’s been inside has responded positively. If you’re back in Somerville, do stop by.
